Who we are (Preamble)

Chron-Anon is a fellowship of individuals whose common purpose is to share our experience, strength, and hope with one another and support each other in our individual journey to develop healthy relationships and better support someone with chronic pain and/or illness.

The only requirement for membership is a desire for healthy and loving relationships with ourselves, each other, and the individual(s) in our lives with chronic pain and/or illness. There are no dues or fees for membership in Chron-Anon. We are self-supporting through our own contributions. Chron-Anon is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization, or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes.

Our primary purpose is to live our lives to the fullest while living with chronic pain and/or illness and helping others to do the same. We do this by practicing the Twelve Steps and welcoming and giving comfort and understanding to each other.

Chron-Anon is the sibling program of Chronic Pain Anonymous (CPA).
